With over 30 years of experience as a Subject Matter Specialist, Ujjwal has established himself as a leading authority in Public Health, Post-Harvest Management, Pest Management, and Sustainability Ecosystems.
Throughout his illustrious career, Ujjwal has developed core expertise in designing customized Agricultural Warehouse Management Plans and has extensive experience in Grain Protection and Management.
His strategic assignments have spanned Integrated Pest Management, Grain Protection, Fumigation, and Food Safety Management Systems. His contributions to the pest management industry are marked by his active involvement in empowering and fostering the growth of various stakeholders at a global level.
Ujjwal has created robust Pest Management industry need-based training modules covering all stakeholders including promoters, owners, management teams, supervisors, and technicians. These programs have been executed in India and Sri Lanka to cover a large number of participants in multilingual training programs.
He has played a pivotal role in driving campaigns in India to support farmers in addressing challenges associated with post-harvest handling losses. His commitment also extends to his association with India’s premier institutions such as ICAR, NIPHM, and CFTRI, where he serves as an expert and visiting faculty in food grain storage and protection.
Ujjwal’s domain expertise in FSMS (Food Safety Management Systems) has contributed significantly to creating awareness among Food Business Operators and regulators across India about India’s Food Safety Standards Act & Regulation.
His remarkable contributions have earned him numerous international accolades, including the prestigious Asian Food Security Mission Ambassador Award by PMASL Sri Lanka and the Industry Award 2023 of the Entomological Society of India.
